Loved the vibe there Prices are a bit expensive (Parisian prices) but staffs is super friendly and helpful We tasted good wine - they have a large choice of wine And had appetizers : lobster tarama - super good and rillettes de bar - perfect for an aperitif Worth the detour ;)

After all the tourist traps and unwelcoming staff we experienced during our trip to Normandy, Carpedien was an oasis of friendliness and quality. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable about their products, the oysters are fresh, and the quality wines are reasonably priced. There is a cute patio in the back where you can enjoy the sunshine without being surrounded by tourists. Nice detail; they have a shop where you can purchase the bottles of wine they serve at the bar. Definitely recommended if you want to enjoy a good glass of wine and some delicacies.
